EXB Dance extreme and Future Loop construction on Korg Extre

Post by paulmpianist »

HI.. I have been , boo hoo, getting ready to reduce the hardware collection. I have the Korg Karma with Future Loop construction and Dance Extreme expansion boards. The thing I like about them was that I can trigger drum riffs in sequencer mode. (is there anything else they are good for?)
Then I thoght.. maybe I can put them in the Extreme and copy the songs from the floppy that goes into the Karma onto my Triton Extreme memory and trigger the drum riffs on the Extreme..

can I do this?
thanks
paul

Ok I got it... the expansion boards DO go in any Triton and the Karma. but I'm having trouble getting the PCGs to line up. I had to download the SNG files that are actually triggers of RPPR to play the drum grooves.
So I'm going to make a new post with that in the title.

Triton Extreme doesn't include all multisamples from the EXB Dance Extreme card...
