Groove X-R vst compatibility

Post by SanderXpander »

Hi all,

A friend of mine is interested in getting a Groove X-R and has trouble finding out which vsts/vsti's are supported. Referrals to Wine aren't helping much.
Does anyone know if there is a list of compatible vstis somewhere?

Failing that, does anyone know if the standard stuff from Native Instrument is working? And IK Multimedia? GForce?

Probably most things that do not require a dongle.

I was writing a writing a program that generated LSCP files and VSTi Script files for the X-R, so here's a list of the VSTi's my program supported at the time, and what was tested on the X-R.

Just so you and your friend know, if you have heard demo's by me or watched some video's. that X-R I'm playing is NOT what he will get from Lionstracs. When things fell through with Corcyra Global and Lionstracs, all the content I created stayed with me.

Thanks Sharp, that is already quite helpful. I have no experience with Linux, but are you saying most stuff will run using the Wine wrapper thing?
