Thank you everybody for your kind answers.
I need a sequencer just for recording midi events on different tracks and play them back to the Kronos (and maybe different other several instruments when I'm in my home studio). I like recording my songs the old way, I mean recording drum track, bass, piano, strings and other instruments one by one, without using predefined loops and so on. Audio recording would be a plus but it's not so important. So you would say that it's a pretty basic need and indeed it is..
That being said my first problem with the internal kronos sequencer is the touch screen: I find pretty difficult to work editing tracks on a so small device. After that I would like to have a piano roll editing function, advanced functions for quantization, possibility to cut / slice / move tracks and many other basic functions that I don't find in the Kronos sequencer or they are pretty difficult for me to perform there.
Cubase was my choice up to now but I was wondering if there could be some iPad app that can provide me the same midi sequencing functions. It would be really productive for me to work on the ipad multi-touch screen, zooming and editing tracks in a far more convenient way that from the Kronos screen.
I start looking at all the app mentioned here till now and the only possible choice for me seems to be Music Studio (

It's really strange in my opinion that nobody till now developed a VERY GOOD iPad sequencer app with the only purpose of giving a full featured multi track midi sequencer, without all those silly internal ipad instruments.
A Cubase-like iPad app (even without audio functions) would be perfect for me, but I think Steinberg released just Cubase iC, a pretty basic iPad remote controller for Cubase, not so useful in my opinion...
I keep on my investingations and trials
Thank you everybody
