EXS3 installation problem

Post by Fernando Zarone »

Hello, I am a new member of the list.
I have bought a used OASYS, I updated it to the 1.3.3a (although in the initial display 1.3.3 is shown...). Then, in order to add the EXS3 sounds, I have downloaded the two disk images, mastered two CDs, but when I insert the CD1 for booting the machine and upgrading to EXS3, the OASYS boots up as usual until the PLAY status is reached, instead of asking for the second disk.
Moreover, I noticed that there are already the Combinations of Exs3 in the machine, but the brass samples are missing, neither is it possible to load them (in the Global sample load page only EXs1 and 2 LoaD BUTTONS are displayed)
HELP!

Thanks in advance

Go to Global, and hit the 'Plug-in Info' Tab.

Is the EXs3 listed and is it authorised?

no, the EXs3 is neither displayed nor authorized, but the combis and programs are there. With no sounds of Brass at all (no samples?)...

Isn't there a box somewhere to check if you want it to load EXS3 samples on bootup, like you also have to do with the EXs2 Piano. I cant remember off hand but will try to check later.

Problem solved!
The installation CD1 was corrupted. I downloaded it again and now it works!
Thank you for the support

Good to hear. It's usually something simple like that :)
Enjoy :)
