[KP3 Problem] Ping-Pong Delay

Post by Vane »

Hello,
I have a problem with the KAOSS Pad 3.
Whenever I use any synth or effect as soon as I remove my finger from the touchpad sound does not stop but continues to generate an annoying ping-pong delay that fades.
I tried to restore the factory settings and to update the OS to version 2.0 of the KP3, but the delay continues.
I noticed that the delay is always synchronized to the clock of the KP3.

I have no idea how to solve this problem, if someone can tell me something I would be eternally grateful.

Thank you all,
Tia

It's called FX Release. You can adjust the amount using 'Shift' and the slider. However, the synth sounds aren't affected (IIRC).

(Actually even the synths have the same problem.)

I've tried using the fader of the FX Release (together with the Shift key) and not helpful.
I also tried using the KP3 Editor to change the value assigned to the FX Release, but nothing.

I'm trying to avoid the technical support because we have an important event in not too long and the KP3 is for me essential.

Unfortunately this effect can't be removed. One of the most common complaints I've read about on the forum...
