Korg Announces Kronos LE
Korg has just announced their new Kronos LE.
This will feature all nine synthesis engines from the legendary Kronos, including an additional three engines:
- ADD3 - three partial additive synthesis. Additional partials can be unlocked with purchased expansion options, up to seven in total.
- LPF48 - an entire synthesis engine dedicated to this monster filter. No oscillators, no mixer, no amp. Just one glorious 8 pole low pass REAL ANALOG filter
- BSDTar - compress your samples into oblivion
Also notable is the addition of the sequencer expansions found previously in the M3 Workstation. These additions will remain unavailable to existing Kronos users.
In order to keep costs down, the Kronos LE does away with the SSD entirely to rely on sample data from the Cloud.
A 3G connection is required. SIM Card sold separately by your local network provider.
For fast, reliable, and robust data storage, an optional EX-FLOPPY expansion is available for only $200

great idie, Sharp!!!
just many professional studios might want to get Kronos but they don't want to buy a huge keyboard for their studio when the only thing thay need is fully fanctional Kronos module
It is a great idie for a Kronos rack!!!
hope Korg will be anought clever to make such
