ADDING TRACKS USING COMB AS BASS LINE?

is it possible to add tracks once you`ve recorded a comb as the main bassline? for example ive managed to record the comb which uses 3 tracks in the sequence mode but i cant seem to be able to play the comb back and record another track over the top, is it possible?
hope that makes sense? :roll:
