Korg Triton Joystick problem?

Post by godzilla »

Just bought a used Korg. The joystick doesn't spring back when it is pushed to the right. Not familiar so I am asking is it supposed to? If it is, can it be fixed? Thanks! :) PS. This is a Triton Classic 61 key model.

I have an extreme and this joystick springs back so I assume it is with other models too (it is springing back on M50 and Kronos too).

Probably some spring is maybe disconnected, you could try to open it and check what is wrong; probably it will be visible easily. You also could contact Korg support and maybe you can fix it yourself, otherwise you need to send it to a service repair center.

You need to replace your Triton Classic joystick cosult a service tech.

It should go back to the center each time you move it up/down, left/right.

Sometimes it feels like it should go back to the service centre each time you move it up/down or left/right

I gave up getting mine fixed after the 3rd time it broke and fixed it myself.

Mine seems like it shd go back another couple of mm each time. And i swear its very slightly out of pitch if not returned manullly fully.

I shd use a tuner to try it.

Where can replacements be bought from?
