Hello,
I Just received a Korg m50 for Christmas. My husband bought it second hand (but reportedly barely used) off of ebay. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to be able to change the sounds/instruments. My keyboard seems to be stuck on a "synth" type sound no matter what I change the setting to in my "Bank A" (Grand Piano, etc.), and only one key will register a sound at a time (so I could not play a chord). I am not normally inept with technology - I am starting to wonder if it is defective in some way - but seriously hoping I am just missing something. Any insight?
Thanks!
(Hopefully) Just a Newbie Q - Can't Change Key Sounds?

Can you reload the factory settings? Global menu, Basic tab, menu, Load preload/demo data option.lped wrote:Hello,

Before your hubby flys off to ebay and picks you up a Roland for this Christmas.... did that advice actually work for you, lped?
I think the synth sounds you are refering to might possibly be some of the mono lead patches (threw me for moment when I first unboxed) so wouldn't have thought you had an issue with the keybed.
