I'm getting this error message whenever I try to load a .pcg that I've used the m3 librarian on. Whenever I want to initialize programs, I just load the .pcg into the m3 librarian and then find an initialized patch and copy it into all the locations that I want to be initialized. Then I save the .pcg. But then when I go back to the m3 to load it... it always says file unavailable.
Help!?
thanks...
there's another separate error that I get when I save a .pcg (only) and then try to load it into the editor.... The only time I get that message though is when I try to save ONLY a .pcg, when I do a save all, or a save .pcg & song data... it works fine. the error is something like, "the file doesn't have a .pcg header....)
Need help with this one too!!!
thanks again.

Help me please?....
I too have a similar issue here....
I downloaded some "Studio essentials" EXB-PCM02 soundbanks from the KORG website.
This is what I downloaded:
http://www.korg.com/SearchResults.aspx?sp=pcm02
They were .PCG files so I figured it would work since the M3 does read that type of file. Well when I went to load them in under the "Media" mode (yes I did read the Manual on how to load them) it said "File unavailable" - doing a little research I saw KORG Triton/Karma - are those files not compatible with the M3 or something?....
I'm so annoyed because the soundbank has some FANTASTIC choir and string sounds that I desperately need - where else can I look for those sounds and also be able to listen before I buy? (I like to know what I'm spending my money on, lol).
They're .PCG files, didn't think it made a difference what KORG model you tried to load them into as long as the model read .PCG files.
Is there a way to like, convert them to work for the M3?
I'd pay if I have to!
Please help? Thanks SO much!

Re: Help me please?....
Not compatible, not gonna happen. The Triton series uses a different synth "engine" than the M3 does. People have been asking for a conversion utility ever since the M3 was released.pianogrl697 wrote: doing a little research I saw KORG Triton/Karma - are those files not compatible with the M3 or something?...

And we're still waiting.

Actually, it should be possible to make a conversion tool, but it would take a lot of development hours to create it, because not only the number of parameters are different, possibly some parameters are not available or value ranges are different.
