microstation multitrack recording

Hi! I have an external sequencer(sonar home 4) and I want to save the midi file in the microstation. When I insert the sd card, the microstation cannot find the .mid or .smf file. SO I just launch sonar and start the sequencer mode in the microstation to record in real time all the midi events from sonar. When the song ends, I press play in the sequencer mode of the microstation, but nothing happens, any help please?
