Hey there I am a newbie to the whole sampling process. I want to sample my Trinity pro sounds in to my laptop and run the laptop in conjunction with my Kronos. What I'd like to know is what software is needed so I can use these sounds live with my Kronos?
Thanks Guys

I don't know the exact answer, just wondering whether you're able to load KMP/KSF files into the Kronos? (Should be.)
In which case you could search for 'trinity-samples(originalROM).zip' on the net and load its content, if you find it.
Anyways, an archive with all Trinity waveforms used to be available on the net and its content should be convertible and loadable in some way...
However, waveforms are just one element to the complete sound, so you'll have to do the programming, too. I don't know of a tool or program that would do it for you on the platforms you desire to use.
Just my .02

i use sample robot by skylife great program you can set it so that it does velocity layers
and how many keys you like it does all the keymaps once recorded the theres a sample editor that will help you do the looping remember when recording your samples take all modulation of i.e volume mod by lfo pitch mod by lfo
all effects all aftertouch and panning you dont want any of these modulations at all as it will make it harder to loop
you will do all those modulations in your new synth
set filter to max frequency no resonance and set the vca to no attack and full sustain and no release as you want to have an full volume sample and good sustain so that you can loop
all these things can be done in the kronos
