any x50 owners out therE? need help with program :(

Post by Naethryn »

i had an x50 and it bricked so i wanted to upgrade to something a little more durable but still had the same sound engine and well now im here in this forum and not the x50's haha.

now making effects in the x50 was such a dubious chore and my band was happy with the presets so i just stuck with them. turns out the triton has every single effect exactly the same (or a little different but who cares?) except for one, and its called hardvelo bass. prog c069 on the x50.

now Ive had the triton for maybe 1 hour before i started slamming out my own effects because its soooooo easy to make things on.

i have an m50 as well so its like my m50 and x50 had a bastard love child and this keyboard feels like a long lost friend now.

however i have no ear or talent for duplicating effects :(. i tried the x50 forum and nothing.... i know its a long shot but its better to aim high and miss than just to put the bow down and walk away.

on a side note....how old is this keyboard? over a decade? and its still this amazing? god bless you korg :) im happy to be a member

The X50 has exactly the same presets as the TR so you might get some help there.

Actually, I used to have a TR and I backed up the presets to transfer over to my KARMA. I may be able to give you a PCG.

Haha thanks.

You'd need a floppy drive. I've got a neat USB one but I've left that at home. Might have the file on my computer though so I'm going to have a look
