What audio leads do you use?

As the title suggests, anything goes in this section.

What audio leads do you use?

Post by Pepperpotty »

I need to buy some new audio leads as I've recently purchased my Korg PA800 and I'm recording using audio cables in to my audio interface.

At the moment, I'm using the audio cables for my guitars so I really need to get some more as I don't want to keep unplugging them all the time. The leads I'm using at the moment are Klotz Kik gold tipped leads whch are are £12 for a 3m lead. (Mine are 6m but that's way too long for me!)

I'm really happy with them but not happy on having to pay delivery charge to order from a music retailer website as there aren't any music shops where I live. (And you can't buy these cables from many places online anyway).

I tend to order most of my leads and stuff off Amazon. I've recently ordered a Stagg Mic lead and it works just fine but it doesn't really look like it will stand the test of time. I'm sure it will be fine if I don't unplug it too much but it doesn't really look that durable. I bet I could go skipping with my Klotz leads and they would work just fine.

So, what brand of audio cables do you use?

Try Planet Waves, gold tipped, very professional (they're NOT cheap)
Ive got about 6 sets, been using them for about 10+ years, they have
not let me down, they also sound good for recording, no noise.
