link patterns on esx and emx

esx is my master
emx is slave

i want to be on pattern A1 on esx and A1 and emx and change pattern to A2 via esx and both will change to A2

i seem to have forgot how to do this its been awhile any assistance will be much appreciated.
at the moment when i change the pattern on the esx to A2 and the emx will stay on A1...

thanks sorry for asking a question that has problly been asked a million times i just could not find any info on it.

Hello.. Press the "global" button on the relevant machine. Hold "shift" and press pad 15 "midi utility" (pad 12 on the EMX). Choose "MIDI Filter" and, where it says "PCEN", scroll until the P is open (O), not closed (X). The P stands for "Program Change".. Incidentally, the C stands for Control Data, E is for Exclusive Data (sysex) and N is for note. If you only want clock and program changes, "X" them all except P.
