Sounds terrific Rich, THANK YOU for taking the time to post here!
Looking forward to an eventual video demo of this bad-boy at work. :)

Make sure they give you the $200 off MAP to price match the NovaMusik Pre-order special.

Also note that some Sweetwater customers also got free shipping. My SW rep is hitting me with a $40 shipping charge.

Yeah, about $200 off those prices listed.
And I never pay s/h at Sweetwater. Ever.
Plus, I'm 1-day shipping from there, so everything gets here super fast.

Kevin Nolan;

Thats not exactly true, in the OASYS the sequencer's timing was only 1/192 ppq, on the KRONOS the sequencer's timing is now 1/480 ppq, check it out.

[and all and boy are their warts).
Not one feature of the dozens of serious, outstanding issues of the OASYS sequencer, which OASYS users begged and screamed to be improved over the years, has been addressed in the Kronos - not one
.

This is the statement you made Kevin, and I was simply letting you know that the statement isn't totally true, OASYS is 1/192 ppq, whereas the KRONOS is 1/480 ppq, this alone is very big when it comes to timing issues, and playing nice with DAW sequencers like SONAR, PTOOLS, etc, now I do agree with you on one front they should have brought the "Cue list" back, this is a very nice feature.

Rich F.

Will the editor allow for the editing of user samples...?
and will I be able to select sounds to play in DAWs such as SONAR..?

I called Nova, they did in fact offer the special price of $2799 (61) Then called Sweetwater and asked if they would match the price?
He said that makes no sense and that Korg probably has no idea of the underselling.. He also mentioned that quite possibly they only get so many units shipped and that earlier buyers may have to wait for their next allotment?
I really don't mind a $50. difference to deal with my very satisfied salesman, but $200. is enough to make me question what's going on.

Anybody? ..

I also pre-ordered my K-88 from Sweetwater, and also got the $200 off to match NovaMusik. I also got free shipping. You should not pay for lower 48 USA shipping from SW.

If you're looking for some "bargaining room" just tell them you'll forego the Sweetwater 2-year warranty. (Some credit cards, like Amex, offer a free-doubled warranty if you use it to purchase stuff. That's what I always do, and believe me, Amex has been very good about honoring their extended warranty. Within the last couple years, they've paid me cash replacement value for a dead iPhone, video card, and UPS all out of the 1st year warranty. I got full refunds in the 2nd year of ownership.)

KRONOS has 480 PPQN note. It features the SAME SysEx Editor the M3 has to edit SysEx parameters. You can't see what they are in the OASYS, but in KRONOS you can.

What's really missing still is the On-Screen Fader Movements, the Track View screen, Cue List and the Piano Roll Editor (which on the M3 is incredible given how you can actually MOVE notes with your finger like you can on a mouse in a DAW. That's amazing!). Then of course the Track Meters are also missing.
Sina.
A question dude.

Have you seen the Kronos Sysex editor yourself to know it´s exactly the one in the M3?

Or how did you get this info?
I wouldn't be surprised if KRONOS saw these missing elements in a future update, though.
Well, yeah, maybe.

... But again... ;)

...Do not hold your breath waiting.
(You may know, as an OASYS user) :)

Regards fellow.
