Will recording software identify the signal or do I have to use the normal midiport? Yes, I have the usb midi drive installed (I just don't have any recording software, yet).
Thanks in advance!
Can I use the USB port as a midi-in/out

Yes.
That is the main purpose of the USB port. It doesn't do anything else except for allowing software OS updates.

'recording software' will only recognise a signal from the xlr or trs outputs, unless your recording software also has midi capabilities. If it does, it will recognise the usb signal as a normal midisignal.Taragalinas wrote:Hmm... Not sure I understand your reply.

Yes, I have to use the normal midiport?
