It's been a long time since I visited this forum so I'm not really a new member. I did introduce myself, a long time ago, but that was before irishacts became korgforums I believe. I guess most of the messages from Irishacts are now somewhere in the archives.
So I'll introduce myself again:
I'm Luc and live and work in Belgium. (you know, that country that still doesn't have a new government after the latest elections

Usually people want to know what gear one is using so here it goes:
- Yamaha Motif ES8 (with mLAN16E, 1 PLG150-AN and 2 PLG150-DX)
- Access Virus TI Polar
- Korg padKONTROL
- Korg i30
Several years ago I had a much bigger rig to play with but you can't keep 'm all, can you.
Anyway: these are some of the instruments I previously owned and enjoyed:
- Korg Prophecy
- Korg Z1
- korg Karma (with EXB-MOSS and orchestral EXB's)
- Korg i5s
- Korg Electribe A-mkII
- Yamaha AN1X
- Yamaha AN200
- Yamaha DX200
- Yamaha Motif 8 (with mLAN8E)
- Yamaha RM1X
- Roland MC-303
- Roland A-37
- Roland AX-7
- Clavia Nord MicroModular
- Clavia Nord Rack 2
- Clavia Nord Lead 3
From this list, the Korg Z1 is certainly come back one day: I still miss it.
Several years ago I sold my Korg i5s and I always missed the ability to quickly try out musical ideas using it's arranger section. I knew that some day, I'ld buy an i30, and this week ... I finally found an i30 in perfect condition at a 'buy me now' price.
I like to listen to all kinds of musical genres but I prefer to create new age, electronica music. Something like Kraftwerk, Jarre, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield.
