hi,

there is a bug:

load m1 vst plugin in cubase 5 in Program Mode.

go to the vst preset selection under tilte bar and select presets from the loaded bank.

the followinging bank places cannot be selected:

007
014
025
028
031
050
056
062

this is completely broken.

it does not matter which bank you use,
card1, 2, etc, t banks,

it's always the same,
you cannot select the bank places like said above.

This is an unofficial forum so you're unlikely to get a reply here (it does happen occasionally though) from Korg's staff.

You should try contacting your Korg national distributor, or possibly look for support through korg user .net or whatever other contact channels you have.

Korg national distributors make no support for software.

i have also been looking in kork usernet,
but i have not found any contact where i can post this bug.

could anybody please help me with this issue?

I can select these patches in Cubase 5, but if I select patch 006 and then patch 007 if I return to patch 006 the sound doesn't change, however if I then select patch 005 this does work correctly, I can then select patch 006 again with the correct sound, this occurs with the Cubase inspector and the topmost dropdown selector on the M1 Gui but not the M1 browser, must be a Cubase problem, I'll see what happens when my copy of Cubase 6 comes hopefully this week.

PS, this patch select anomaly also occurs with some patches on the Wavestation synth, strange.

PPS. I've just tried this again using Cubase 5LE on my laptop, no problems at all, all patches select as expected, even stranger.

thanx for confirming.
this is exactly what i have reported.
if you select 007 it switches back to 006
if you select 014 it switches back to 013
025 to 024
028 to 027
031 to 030
050 to 049
056 to 055
062 to 061

i think it will not change with cubase 6.
however, if it would change anything it would be cubase 5 related.

please keep us informed.

i don't go to 6 at the moment, because we have a production going on.

BTW
did you try to export a klc m1 bank to vst presets with the option under titlebar of vst plugins?

this is broken in cubase 5, it creates the files with the right names, but all content the sound information of the first sound in the bank.
so the only way is to save them one by one.

hi,

i have tested the same thing in cubase 6 now.

it's exactly the same problem.

so this is 100% a KLC M1 BUG.

would be nice to get a official reaction by korg to get this bug fixed hopefully.

i have downloaded M1 v1.6.4 Update

it's still the same bug.

it has not been repaired.

very annoying.
