MACEDONIAN BEATS
Does anyone know where I can find a 12/8 time signature style for a PA800?. In Macedonian this beat is called a BERANCHE.
Thanks
Thanks

it would help if you post a link to a song that uses that kind of beat. Not all 12/8 beats are the same.korg_unlimited wrote:Does anyone know where I can find a 12/8 time signature style for a PA800?. In Macedonian this beat is called a BERANCHE.

Thank you for reply.
Here is a good example of the 12/8 time signature.

Ok, the beat itself is very easy, but very unusual and interesting. your link was a very crappy arrangement, and I had to go with that. It's always better to link a good performance/arrangement that does justice to the song. I put together just one Var. Just take a Listen to the very short demo. if you liked it, i'll send you the sty. file and you can expand/modify it yourself if you like...If you didn't like it, don't worry about it, because i didn't spend more than 15 min..it's not mixed properly and no effects applied yet.korg_unlimited wrote:Thank you for reply.

Excuse my horrible melody. I listened to the original once, and just tried to play a similar riff kind of sort of...I liked the beat though. It's seems to be unbalanced, but it works once you get a hold of it.
Here's the demo!

Sam - I am vey impressed. You have done a great job. The Beranche is an interesting beat and works well, once you get your head around it. It also has a lot potential once you really put some expression into it.
Here's another Youtube clip showing the dance being performed. Sound quality is woeful but shows how the dance steps are actually done.

I would really like to try the STY file if it is possible. I have a PA800 that I am still learning to use. Your assistance is very much appreciated.
By the way, your youtube clip of "The Flight of the Bumble Bee" is brilliant. Well done!
Thank you!
Chris

Hi Chris,
I could e-mail u the file. It's definitely an interesting beat. It's really hard to play if you're not familiar with the genre. I saw the dance steps. Now, it makes even more sense. The style i made only uses factory sounds so you should be able to load it with no problem.
Here's another demo of the same style without the melody:
