Error Backup battery power is low

When i turn on my Korg i3 , I get an error message " Backup battery power is low ". Please help me to fix it. Thank

You must take this to a Korg service centre for battery replacement.
I can't imagine that it will be too expensive.

Don't turn the power off until you've backed up any custom arrangements, etc. But you already did that, yes? :wink:

Save all your data on the keyboard onto a floppy.
Unplug the keyboard
Take the back off and you will find a small watch type battery on the motherboard.
The battery comes out quite easily.
the batteries are easy to buy from most supermarkets and electrical shops.
I can't remember if you have to flip the motherboard over like on the Korg M1 but it is still an easy process.
Korg I3, Korg M1, Korg Tr Rack. Korg x3, Cakewalk Sonar.
