[microKONTROL] firmware version

Hello,

Just got a 2nd-hand microKONTROL and suddenly two questions popped up:


- Is updating to firmware-version 1.03 as dangerous as some horror-stories tell ? Or is the update just working fine for most ?

- How can I see which firmware is present ? Maybe it's already at 1.03.
Are there some 'hold this while switching on'-combinations to see it displayed ?
