Sticking Damper

Post by T Valentine »

My Damper is sticking. Have tried a different pedal and still sticky. Has anyone had this problem and what's the fix?

Go into Global mode, to the Foot tab, and change the polarity of your damper pedal.

Thanks for the reply. I've actually tried that, but I think my problem is different.
When the notes sustain after releasing the pedal, I can stop their sustaining by slightly moving the pedal input (at the input jack) up or down. To me this seems like a loose input, but I don't know much about that.

Also, when my Korg turns on, it says I have a low Battery Voltage for Calendar IC. Soon I will go get another battery, but do you think this may fix the pedal issue? (it doesn't seem like it would but I thought I would ask).

Thanks!

Possibly the jack's lose and needs to be tightened? I doubt the battery has anything to do with it. You might also want to borrow a pedal from someone that is known to be working; it could be a problem with your pedal as well.
