FInding out which OS is installed on Radias

Post by cello »

Hi - am wanting to check what OS my new-to-me Radias has on board.

In other posts I have found some folks have mentioned holding down three buttons during startup - but not which three!

Can anyone let me know what they are please?

Many thanks

From this post
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=19757

How can I tell what version I currently have ?

Turn on the Power Switch of the RADIAS while holding the [MASTER FX ON],
[Cursor(Up/Left)], and [Cursor(Down/Right)] keys (all at the same time).

The version information will be displayed on the RADIAS LCD screen :

_____________________________
RADIAS Verup Mode…
By USB-MIDI
SYS : Ver 1.02
USR : Ver 1.01
PCM : Ver 1.01
_____________________________

In this case the OS version is 1.02. Now turn the RADIAS and back on again to resume normal operation.

The RADIAS OS updater program will also tell you whether you need to do an update, by automagically checking the OS version for you.

Brilliant - thanks for doing a better job with the search engine than I did!

No problem. I had just bookmarked it myself for updating my new RADIAS-R.

Just updated mine from 1.04 to 2.0 and everything went fine, per the instructions.

Cello, if you need any help with this, let me know.
