cheers!

If you want to use the EA-1 purely with its presets, you are really going the wrong way about it.
One of the big features of the Electribe series is that the sound of a part is related directly to the pattern, so you can start from scratch designing the right sound as a part of writing your song/track.
In the same way, you will be hard pressed to find a presets patch list for many 'real' synthesizers because most people reprogram them from scratch when they get them. A lot of the presets are often just there to show what it can do.
Sorry if that is not necessarily too helpful, and I do hope you find what you are looking for...

I think I get what you are doing, which can I suppose be benefited from a patch script.
Are you sequencing the parts in cubase, rather than just triggering them running using the EA-1's built in pattern sequencer?
Its not a problem at all, I just didn't think many people use them that way. I can see how a patch script can be useful in that way, but equally you could just enter in the program number and bank changes (if necessary. A bit more complicated I know) from the MIDI channel inspector panel in Cubase. I don't think the EA-1 shows names for patches on its panel anyway, so a patchscript file wouldn't really have much in it, right?

I actually have an ER-1 and an ES-1 which are more drum/rhythm machines but the general concept for all of them is the same:
You create a pattern (and the synth sound is an integral part of that pattern - i.e. the synth parameters for the parts are saved with and are unique to each pattern.
Then if you wish you can change patterns in real-time whilst performing, or string them together in song mode to make a full song.
If you had for example the ES-1 and EA-1 synced together over MIDI, you could have your bassline programmed on the EA-1 and some drums and other rhythm elements like guitar programmed on the other.
They are great for live performance particularly because of the ability to switch between patterns whilst they are running (and it waits to the end of the current pattern before changing).
I imagine it would be okay as a two-timbre monophonic sound module if you blanked off all the patterns and just had sounds programmed for the synth parts.

had my first muck around with this last night with headphones and thought it was quite good.
had a read at the manual which shows you some basic settings to create sub/pad etc patches.
just a thought: im wondering if there are any patches i can download that can then be fed into the memory for use later? i noticed some sysex program the last time but dunno where to find it or what it does...
