windows 7 compatibility issues?

Post by smoney »

Hi Guys, Just upgraded to windows 7 and can't get my Firewire connection or usb connection to work for m3. With the Usb connection it says No Device connected when I try to install the M3 Usb driver thru the setup utility, and when i try to rewire it in pro tools, it wont read the device. With the firewire connection, I can run m3 stand alone, however i have no sound, and it wont rewire into pro tools. Help! anyone else having these issues? Need help for either USB or Firewire!

If you are using the same driver version you where using before the upgrade, you might want to download the latest version.

Also check the Korg's M3 product page, on the Support tab, there are some specific instructions for the MIDI driver on Windows 7.
