My Roland A-33 controller developed a couple of keys not responding to velocity. They simply sound at full volume.
Any ideas how can I fix this myself ? I plan to open it up and clean the keybed inside tomorrow.

NO SWITCH CLEANER!!!!!
Roland tend to use rubberised contact strips.
They sometimes lift where there is a break between the strips. This lets dirt / dust inside.
You'll need to remove the notes to get to the strips.
Never done a A-33, so can't tell you how to remove them.. other than carefully, don't force them.
If you want to clean the contacts on the circuit board, a little contact cleaner on a cotton bud will be fine.
The contacts within the rubber strip, a dry cotton bud to wipe away any dirt.
If you want to dampen a cotton bud with a little contact cleaner to clean the contacts within the rubber strip if dirt is resisting, then fine.
Good luck..

Ughhh, yeah, I know what you mean. I saw the rubber cups all around the circuit board. That means I got to remove all of them a squirt lots of contact cleaner inside. Dam. Looks like a weekend job. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks
