it sounds amazing too. as fascinated as I was with my Fantom g7 when I got it... I've got to say, I'm at least JUST AS fascinated with this machine. The keys feel awesome. It sounds awesome... there's just so much to explore (seems like). I feel right at home (coming from a Korg Triton 88 key for the last 10 years.) I really do love this board. I've got a Radias card and a memory expansion on the way, so I'm sure that will just add to the fun. (not so sure about the Radias card or what it will bring to the table, but we'll see)

The more I learn about the machine, the more I'm sure I'll love it. But man, I've got a long way to go. But it will be fun.

I told my wife tonight that I honestly think I can sell my Motif Rack XS now. I just don't really think I need it. The Fantom G7 (as powerful as it is) and now the m3-88. Just seems like that plenty to learn and master. (or is it? )

What makes this even more or a happy moment is that I got it for $1350 shipped, and I got the bing, ebates, ebay bucks thing too....

My music stuff is gonna take off from here... expect plenty of questions. I'm just warning you. I didn't get a manual with the board, and it's tons expensive printing them.

I plan to learn. Just help me get there.

you are a lucky bastard, man! :) :D

And you make me gain 10 euros I had bet with a colleague.

He was sure you'd get screwed.

I was also, but I hedged my bet:

I'd gain money if you got a working M3,

and I'd get fun if you didn't.

So, a nice day for both

Yay! :)

well done for picking up such a bargain. You've got balls of steel  , but that's rock n roll for you! You deserve your good luck.

Rest assured. You won't regret it. The Radias kicks serious ass.

Congrats Apex! I was hoping this would turn out good for you. Figured you had at least the Paypal protection on the deal so it couldn't have been too bad. Deals like this can happen from time to time and I'm glad you lucked into this one!

Personally, I looked on eBay and stuff for a couple of weeks trying to decide but finally broke down and ordered mine through Musicians Friend with their 15% off Memorial Day sale. Felt good about the price (not as good as you!) and got the 2 year warranty to boot. As my previous post mentioned, I ordered the 73 key but am STILL thinking about the 88 key....think that means I should call them today and see what the process would be to swap this beast out. As much as I don't want to deal with the whole process, those weighted keys are hard to forget about.

With regards to your no manual situation, I haven't even opened mine yet after nearly two weeks! I'm sure you were just like me before it arrived and reading the forums, downloading/reading manuals, and looking at every online resource out there. I've been keeping the manual open on my computer so if any questions come up, I can look it up. I have NO experience with keyboards but this puppy really is intuitive to the point of only having to look at the download manual about 3-4 times since I've had it.

Enjoy it Apex!!! And I still plan on keeping you guys posted on the swap...if I can bring myself to let go of the one sitting in my room :?
