Hey - Sampling

Post by musicaviat »

I am totally new to this,

But can somebody tell me how I can sample? like what is meant by sample? All i knwo is that it can give you sound pretty cool sounds and realistic sounds.

I want to sample like powerful sounds for my Korg PA800... any help would be appreciated.

I have software's like Adobe Audition and stuff... but then again. I need help with understanding this sampling.

Thanks !

If you need a theory then this is a good place to start.
Then, if you have some questions post it here.

I have made my drum sets but I did not sampled (recorded) drums my self, I just found some waves on the internet. You don't need to record this samples because I believe that there are already recorded samples of everything you need.
