Use a expression pedal, such as Korg EXP-2, though it can also function as volume pedal, but for your purpose, use it as expression pedal.

Just to add options.. I use a Behringer FCB1010 MIDI pedal which has 2 expression/volume pedals - I use these to control UPPER 1 and UPPER 2 volumes.

Expresion

Post by zlaja »

I use volume pedal for expresion.
But I have problem...

When I press the pedal it increases and lower track together with upper1.
Can I somehow keep LOWER fixed when I use expresion pedal?

Hi zlaja, you can indeed do this. Press the 'Global' button on the keyboard -> Press the 'Controllers' Button on screen and you will see the calibration screen for Pedal/Footswitch. The top selection is your pedal settings and you will see an option in the box next to it. Open this options box and scroll through untill you find 'Keyboard Exp' and choose that. Then Calibrate your pedal as instructed on the screen and then save to Global..... :)

I know how to set up my expresion pedal but when I use it I want to separate lower from upper1, 2 and 3. When I press the pedal lower goes UP along with Upper1, 2 and 3 and I dont want that. I want my lower strings to be fixed.
