PA500 - corruption of SD Disk

Post by thybarr »

Hello

I have just experienced a problem with a SD Disk and the Pa500.

The disk contained some mid files and I chose one to place a marker at the beginning so that when I reached the end of the tune I could go back to the beginning of the tune and play it again. I placed the marker and then saved it to the midi file which was on the SD disk.

Now the problem:- I tried to load another midi file but a messsage came up to state that the midi file could not be loaded. I tried several midi files with the same result.

I then took the disk and placed it in my computer but the computer came up with the message that the disk was corrupted. I have tried all ways to access the disk but with no success and the computer will not let me format the disk.

Can anyone tell me what has happened that my keyboard has corrupted a SD disk.

Difficult to say, can be a lot of things. Did you use a (max) 2 GB disk?
Because that's the limit for PA500.
Musical grtz, Frans

Play in style. ;)
