Case suggestions for the MicroKORG XL
I've read elsewhere on the forum that the MicroKASE is just a little too small for the MicroKORG XL (which is like 1.5 inches longer than the original)--does anyone have a suggestion for a different case for it? (I'd been carting it to practices and gigs in its original box until it spontaneously fell apart, luckily not while I was carrying it.) Or if you use an XL with the KASE just fine, help dispell the rumor. Thanks!
I use a Gator bag model GK 2110. It fits perfectly. Extremely well made. And only $30.

(I actually own two, another one for my microSampler - I also use the 1515 model for my EMX, and the 1212 model for my KP3)

Well, I suppose if you put some velcro on the underside of the MK, but it would look goofy. That said, Gator bags are lined with padded fabric that loves velcro - I use velcro straps for my cables and it stays in place inside the bag.
Also, attaching a guitar strap to the sides will turn any small keyboard into a keytar-like thing.

I'm about half tempted to try this. I really am wanting to do the keytar thing. I don't know of a way to install straps without modifying the Synth. There is a korg keytar coming out soon, that has mk sounds. But it's going to run $699.AI_Joe wrote:Well, I suppose if you put some velcro on the underside of the MK, but it would look goofy. does any one with the gator cases know if some like this would work for them as well? They seem to be more readily available here in Austin.AI_Joe wrote:Well, I suppose if you put some velcro on the underside of the MK, but it would look goofy.
