Switching to new c/r version - code not valid??????

Anyone please help...

I installed the new c/r authorization version and ran the authorize after opening the ms20 app. I get the computer specific code and goto the korg site for issuing my code. I get the new code and when I enter it into the authorization tool, it tells me that the license code is invalid. This is definitely not cool. SO, is there anyone else experiencing this? Is there somewhere else I should email/call?

At me the same problem, Locking code 0-00000 and I do not know what to do mine Image

With Synchrosoft works normally

Call your Country Korg Distributor. If you live in the U.S., your distributor is Korg USA.

Question: Did you both uninstall all earlier versions before installing the most current?

I deleted all some times with uninstaller and manually.Has tried on PC, there all works, but it is necessary to me for Mac OS X 10.4.11.I tried to change Time Zone, have not helped.

And I not so understand, how I will be helped by mine Distributor, through Synchrosoft all works for me, a problem only in Challenge/Response registration

Actually, I'm all sorted out now. I was using the product code from the CD, forgetting that I had the upgrade product code in an email from when I upgraded. So, hopefully that might help some... :wink:

It is possible how to solve a problem with Locking code 0-00000, I can send in a support service the Product Code that to me have believed that the licence user

I would not like to remain as a result without updatings

All Korg product support, whether Korg hardware or Korg software, is handled by your Korg Country Distributor:

If they can fix the problem, they will. If they have to contact Korg Japan, they will. If they have to contact Syncrosoft, they will.

Different companies have different support structures, but Korg support is provided each Korg Country Distributor.

Someone here MIGHT be able to help you, but why are you unwilling to contact the official Korg support channel?

Because I in Russia, and here to me will tell that if on Synchrosoft works, all means ok, but for me that not ok((

You keep talking about both Syncrosoft and Challenge/Response (License Authorization). There are two DIFFERENT installers, one for Syncrosoft, the other for License Authorization.

If you live in Russia, according to the above your Korg Country Distributor is A&T Trade. Have you contacted them yet?

argh, i really hate this. c/r worked fine for me so far, i own both the KLC + KLC analogue, but hardly used mono/poly, so i used c/r. now i get the locking code (it's NOT 0-00000! so this seems fine) - but also for me "code invalid". i guess korg has to solve this on its own... but if anyone has a solution i'd be very happy! thanks in advance!

With the original KLC, you received an "Authorization Code" on the outside of the CD case. If you upgraded to KLC v1.2 and/or KLC-AE2007, when you paid for these you received an email with NEW codes:
-- one new Product Code for KLC-1 v1.2
-- one new Product Code for KLC-AE2007

If you try to enter your old/original Auth Code, it probably won't work.

If you don't have the Product Codes anymore, contact Korg and they can look them up for you in the Korg UserNet Registration Database.

Yes, I speak about two variants because now protection will be Challenge/Response, I would like to solve it now then not to think of it, tomorrow I will try to contact the distributor

wow... can't believe that. of course i do have the code that was printed on the box (i still have the actual box), but when i upgraded to also have mono/poly, i just got a link to download the dongle-license (worked fine). but: i did NOT get a new code to replace the one on the box!

i re-setup my system just 1 week ago & installed the latest "old" C/R version, re-issued the code and it worked like a charm... with the latest protection-change update, it doesn't any more, as mentioned.

anyway, i wrote a mail to korg, hope they'll help me.

i got the - non working - code via email, there they give another contact email (something like "register..@korg..."; can't access my mails from work).
i used that email and used my email adress with which i registered at korguser.net - so i hope this works, but i didn't receive any answer yet
