Help with getting sounds into the M3

Post by Chill Traveler »

I have a very interesting project that I cannot figure out how to accomplish it. I have been asked to record a stereo sound and bring it into the M3 and then Karma the sound. I think I need to use the vocorder in my Radias to do it, but I am not sure how to get the sound into the M3.

As an example, they want me to record in stereo a sound like a train coming and then going. The musical piece would start with the real sound of the train approaching and it would morph into a Karmaized musical piece and finish with the real train sound leaving.

I have a test sound recorded on MP3 stereo. I just cannot figure out how to get it into the M3. Ideally, I would like to bring it in digitally through a USB thumb drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bob

I have the wav file in the M3, but I cannot figure out how to play it so that I can play along to it. The sound play continuously when I hold down the first and second pad and I have it in U-F.

What I would like is the be able to record the train and then play it back and accompany it. Once I figure out how to do that, then I think I can make it automatic.

I would appreciate help in figuring out how to record one track and then another etc etc.

Thanks for any help
