I'll probably get yelled at

Post by mattyc »

ok here it goes. i have owned my triton pro since 2002. while i understand most of what my triton can do, i have always had one problem, how to tweak my drum tracks. ive used compressors and higains and so on and so on. my synths and basses and pads always work out doing what i want them to, but my drums always sound cheesy no matter what i do. i have searched hi and low for tutorials on this matter. why am i so drum programming illiterate? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

how do you record your drum tracks? are they entered by hand, step recorded? arpeggiated? btw - i think the only way you could get yelled at in here is if you bought an EXB-ROM board and tried to stick it in the RAM slot...
