Karma dead notes

Post by ralanbarker »

`I have suddenly developed several dead notes on my Karma. In alternating octaves, Eb, G, and B are dead. Has anyone had this problem? There is bsolutely no good repair shop anywhere around here.

Go to the Karma labs web site and there you may be able to get some help.

Dust and fuzz balls under the keys

Post by Donnyrob »

I had a key on mine that quit working after I dusted it off once. I took it apart and found a very small piece of lint/fuzz type substance under the key. I blew it out and it worked fine. I was amazed that such a small amount would keep it from working. I keep mine covered all the time now.

I think you're best getting a qualified tech to look at it.

considering it is a pattern of dead notes across the keyboard, sounds more like a problem with the scanning/diode matrix or ribbon cable.
