Loading samples

Post by orbit »

Hello all,

I'm starting to use more and more samples in my compositions now that I have SCSI and a flash drive. The issue that I'm having is that it's hard to keep track of all the samples I have to load each time I power on the triton. I can create a program from a multisample and whatnot, but is there anyway for the triton to look for the samples it needs when I load that program as opposed to me using disk mode and loading them one by one?

Thanks

Sure. When loading the xxxx.PCG, make sure you have the option "Load xxxx.KSC too" checked.

This of course only if you have previously saved your sample files (.KSC) with the same name as your program (.PCG). Choose "Save PCG and Multi" to do that, then you can load em all in at once later on.

Hi there,

I´m not 100% sure, but doesn´t only the option "Save all" include the KSC? I´m a little stuck myself figuring out how to organize my saving of programs that use samples. But as far as I came by now, you should just dump everything to disk using the "Save all" option.

Regards
