Why not a sequencer KORG-DS on a PA2XPRO?

Post by dovme »

It's only a dubt; why we can't have a graphic sequencer like the Korg-DS (nintendo ds) in ours PA2XPRO, more graphical, more easy to edit.

On the way to make rithms or bass patterns, arps... it's more useful with a 16*16 graphical grid steps for example, no?
To move notes and tempos with a piano grid like on the classical sequencers: Cubase, FLStudio...

It's aquestion of hardware or you think that's not useful? Maybe for future firmwares? 3.0? :P

What do you think? excuse my ignorance ;)

thanks in advance

I don't think the Korg engineers are as creative as you are.

I could use a better facility for creating interesting arps and then use them through pads.

Dovme,

This was a serious answer, i wasn't being sarcastic. The fact is at times we can be more creative in our thinking than the korg design team. You wont get an answer from korg because they never seem to provide explanations as to why thet don't do this or that. A graphical sequencer is a nice idea, but i'm not sure if korg would agree with that.

You can include this in the PA2X/PA800 wishlist.

I can't understand if it's a question of hardware :?:

Nintendo DS have 4MB of memory and 2 processors 32bits 66Mhz and 33Mhz
very low hardware and can't execute KORG-DS with a good software for a creation.

Look at the videos or the photos.

Now try to imagine what easy it can be to create and style with this kind of sequencers utilitys... and it's from KORG too

very strange

Of course while you are waiting a long time for any new software from Korg, most PC or MAC based sequencers will do that if you connect them up to your Pa keyboard. And you get a bigger screen than the Nintendo :-)

Yes i know that ;)

it was just cause, everitime you need computers to end a good work. But to make a simple style it can be useful.

Doesn't matter ;) don't worry! thanks for the patience
