Very enjoyable track, I love the beat.

I do have a suggestion though. I think what this song could use is a change of pace somewhere. Not necessarily a change in tempo, but maybe a change in the beat (though I do love it). For instance, having the cymbals play quarter notes rather than eighth notes for a section of the song just to slow it down a bit. Or you could have the song start out slow (using what I suggested), and then make it gradually faster and as the song goes on, which is what I think you were somewhat intending to do.

I can't complain anywhere else though, as it sounded great.

I love the beginning especially. Would love to hear more change up in the drums as well, my technique applied here would be to revisit the very different sounding intro beat, only the second time around add some other synth pad or do something very different on the guitar like play a bass lead or something. Also, the horn sound wasn't nearly as nice sounding as the guitar, I would almost rather hear a flanging synth with a little buzz in it. A horn is a good choice to stand out over the smooth silky background which is lovely, though the background pads could use a break a couple of times as I suggested with the intro drums repeating. Stephen, these are just nits and brainstorms talking, it's a beautiful piece. I think I take your guitar for granted and I shouldn't because it is so amazing the tones you achieve there and I know the struggle of finding fresh backgrounds and structures for these ideas. You're always ahead of the game, Stephen, and I am loving this.

beautiful tune, you are producing a beautiful sounds from your Guitar(s?)

the overall production has some work to do... i would choose a lighter Drums\Percussion instead of those quite heavy\reverbed Drums and some more diversity of Drum\Perc patterns will be great, after all it is a Latin music and Latin music based on it's pulsating rhythms.

you could use some different Brass if you want to their sound is artificial and stand in contrary to the Live acoustic feel of the Guitar and Drums

the Bass could use some boost and the Drums volume could be reduced either by compression and some EQing


in any case, some minor sound problams are nothing compared with the talent one have in his hands and mind

But there is much to love here, and little to complain about... it is just GOOD to me... But I also would like a little change-up somewhere...

This is good for many listens... Solid!

I really appreciate the suggestions, and I did I revisit this, keeping them in mind.

The first version was very last minute, as I was just struggling badly to come up with something, luckily this worked out ok.
