korg nX5r module : voltage

Post by yeotao »

hi there...

i have a korg Nx5r module with the japanese voltage sticker stating 100 V.

my country is using 230V.

but i understand that some korg products uses a univeral power unit. the sticker could be just a mandatory label as per that country's regulations.

can only tell me if i can use this without a transformer.? many thanks..:)

Hello.

You need to contact KORG for this one.
That's module is a little old so I wouldn't be able to answer you on this.

Regards.

I know my reply is too late for you.

Last year I change the voltage of my second-hand NX5R bought from UK, it's 220V, and I use it in Taiwan, need 110V, so I made a simple modification to NX5R: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZifIGjKfMlg

The video is in Chinese, but the key operation is very clear and simple.
