How could I do to avoid the sound of my combi been cut when I change of combi?
Do you see what I mean?
For example with my left hand I play a chord and I wish to keep that chord with the actual combi as if I switch the combi that will change the sound of the futur note of the right hand or a the next chord in left hand.
Am I clear?
Please say to me how to keep the sounds of the note already played when I change of combi because it's not smooth at all to have the sound of my M3 cut for 1 sec...
Thx in advance __________________

There is no way. M3 can't do exactly that. The sound is always interrupted when you change Combis or Programs. One of the highly acclaimed features of the Roland Fantom G is that it does NOT interrupt the sound. Same goes with MainStage (Software-Host coming with Apple Logic Studio). But this still seems to be special nowadays, as it is mentioned in every add and review etc,
On the M3, you can only work around this by not switching the Combi but by switching (or muting/unmuting) Sounds WITHIN one Combi. That might be done with the buttons or the SW switches (at least I believe to have read something like that around here but never tried it myself).
Best regards,
Christian

Using module or something like it
Hello Evald,
I've seen you're post.
I found out the same problem in the past (not with a korg M3 but with the Triton, but they seem to have the same problem).
I started using a module (like the M3 m). So when you have a solo, the lead in your left hand is put out of the module, this one doesn't switch the sound so it keeps sounding.
You could switch the program with a pedal so you could use both hands perfectly.
Maybe you don't want to use a external sound engine but it is a solution.
I surely hope you solved this problem, when not, maybe you could use my information
Kind regards,
Foppe Eekma

other sub outputs
Hello Evald,
Ok, keep it simple is mostly the best solution. The less modules etc. the less problems.
I never tried it, but maybe you could route sound to other output channels. I don't know how the M3 will react but it is worth trying.
enjoy
