Questions has comment of Sysex in sequencer M3

Post by evaldaldo »

Hello has all I crossed(went through) up and down the "paper" note as well as guide of the parameters and I did not find answer has my question, but as I am not endowed in programming I overestimate that you go to be able to direct me on the walking(march) has to follow.

I shall wish to use the sequencer to change automatically my sounds the fur and has measure of a piece, because I have too many changes of sounds has to make and I do not take(bring) out with my pédalier there, I imagine live meme not in.

I reached has to make change, when I wish it, a program, apply effects as indicate in the paper note P92 and 93 but I wish to call combis that I personalized.

Then my question is the following one:

-Is it possible to call a combi has a moment given in the sequencer through sysex or the other one, then to re-change it has another moment?

- either is it necessary to configure manually and to call a program has the time for every part(party) of the combi? (For example for a Split called a program for the sound of bottom(stocking), and so on) knowing that I indeed wish to play live and not have has to select the track(runway) noon which I wish to use because I use all the time my 2 hands...

Has anybody ideas so that I take(bring) out there?

Saddened for these questions surement badly explained but if you have pipes(tips) any help will be welcome ^^ If there is something bad to formulate say the I I shall try of etre more clearly.

-Someone says to me that we have to use "cue list" to do this but I looked at the section Cue list in the note in "paper" and guides parameters but I do not really understand of what he(it) turns(returns). In fact I wish, in a piece or there are only the changes of measures, to say has which places the sequencer has to activate me my changes of combis automatically.
Except I do not absolutely see making how. You could tell me how to call a combi ( a standard) cue list.
For example that the piece begins with the combi 1 then exchange of combi has the measure 20.
You can say to me how can it be done?
It should help me a lot. I hope that I do not ask some for thing(matter) of too much complicated. Because the I do not really take(bring) out there, instead of working on my fragments and choosing my sounds I block(surround) the top ...:-(

PS: I'm so sorry for this long post.
Excuse me for my English but I am French.
Which beautiful hatch this M3

It sounds to me like you don't need the sequencer to be playing, you simply want to be able to change full Combis without using your hands, is that correct?

If so you should copy the Combis you want in order to an unused Bank, then you can set a pedal to do Program Up or Advance in Global Mode-> Controllers tab. This way you can step forward through your Bank of Combis without using your hands. Try it...

That's for the answer!

Yes I already have put in order my combi and successfully change combi with program up with the switch pedal, but there is a problem.

How could I do to avoid the sound of my combi been cut when I change of combi?

Do you see what I mean?
For example with my left hand I play a chord and I wish to keep that chord with the actual combi as if I switch the combi that will change the sound of the futur note of the right hand or a the next chord in left hand.

Am I clear?

Please say to me how to keep the sounds of the note already played when I change of combi because it's not smooth at all to have the sound of my M3 cut for 1 sec...

Thx in advance

Changing to another combi will always take some time.

Now it's possible to make a few changes (patch, karma,..) in a combi by sending the appropriate midi, but changing the fx will always be a problem.

A soultion would be to add an M3M but even then you would have to do some tricks to get the transition very smooth.

Ho yes I know and it would be easier to have an Oasys-88 too...^^

The probleme i s that I cannot afford me to have an other M3M 'cause I don't have the money, so I have to do all this stuff with "only my M3"

Thx good regards.
