Converting Songs to midifiles

Post by gmartin »

When I load midifiles into my Korg TR and modify them, they turn into a Song (SNG), I guess. Is there a way to convert them back into a GM midifile ?

Yes there is. If you go to media/save/utility/save to std midi file, you can follow the prompts and save your song.

hi, i did the same for me LE, like load a midi file into the sequencer, but after i edited the patches..i.e add effects, changed volumes, changed gm patches into Le patches, and i save or press play..my changes are not saved. i.e it simply go back to the original midi file settings( same gm volume, patch, etc)

can anyone enlighten me? i already changed the gm setting to KORG in global .. :( many thanksss!
