KARO presents:"KEP Electric Piano" in a higher lev
Hi Oasyan`s
KARO presents another first-class library with Electric Piano sounds!
It was the Rhodes MK I and the Rhodes MK II in 4 stages of velocity...
Recorded with 24-bit 96kHz and then transfered in the Oasys and converted to 16-bit 48kHz. All samples are unlooped and thus provide an absolute reality.
The excellent quality of this library is therefore no longer be distinguished from the original Rhodes.
This library are also available in mid-July and cost 149.- USD.
Best wishes,
KARO Sound Development

Hi Kevin,Kevin Nolan wrote:Oh Boy - This is VERY exciting!
Thanks for the Fantastic news.
PS. Please, PLEASE do the CP80 as well at some point in the near future!!!
thanx... It was not easy to find 2 suitable Fender Rhodes, which still sound fantastic but now time has come

Unfortunately, I know nobody with a CP-70, CP-80... perhaps there is someone from the forums in germany who own a CP

Take care,

This is wonderful. I will of course be buying your upcoming pianos as soon as they are ready; and if a CP70 is released (yes - the piano Keane uses!!) then the OASYS will be one of the most complete units for acoustic and electric piano sounds around.medusaland wrote:Hi Kevin,Kevin Nolan wrote:Oh Boy - This is VERY exciting!

A thought for the long run - offer all pianos as a package - that way you could post news of such a substantial sound set to the likes of Harmony Central, Keyboard magazine and Sound on Sound, demonstrating that the OASYS now offers significant resources in this department and along with its existing pianos and organs competes with the best Clavia (for example) have to offer in this regard for piano players and gigging musicians. It'd be great for Korg to also promote such a complete pianos package - it would definitely bein their interest to flag your then complete piano coverage.
As an interim to those interested in the CP80/CP70 - the 1st electric piano in the GM sound set on the OASYS is a CP80 sample. It's just one layer so will not compete with anything Karo can release - but it's still quite a respectable multisample, and with filter velocity sensing and added chorus, offers a quite nice CP80 piano sound.
But thanks for the heads up Karo on finding a CP70 to sample, and if you do release it as an instrument, it will surely be a priority to many and a very in-vogue sound.
Cheers,
Kevin.
