Hi, have anyone used this board? i have this board it is fantastic with os9 but why doesnot korg upgrade it or ask yamaha to do it to mlanB? IT is fantastic to use tritonstudio like soundcard with a simple firmware upgrade (like have done presonus,apogee, kurzweil), exb-mlan will be compatible also with OSX, Vista, XP; in this way it would be possible sound also vst instrument connetting notebook to triton studio.
thanks

I was requesting some info on this card myself.....I read the specs on korgs website....8 in-8 out, (8 in-6 out for the rack)....not exactly sure if its just midi data or audio it streams back to my daw....but i want to be able to controll my triton through midi data from my daw then route individual channels back to my daw for further processing.....i think i can allready do the first thing with a midi connection...?, though only limited to 2 stereo outputs at the moment i would like to expand is this what it is for.....an info and feedback would be greatly appreciated....Thanx...

Yes, you can control Triton with the regular MIDI connection.Etherium wrote: ....not exactly sure if its just midi data or audio it streams back to my daw....but i want to be able to controll my triton through midi data from my daw then route individual channels back to my daw for further processing.....i think i can allready do the first thing with a midi connection...?
The mLAN will transfer both MIDI data and digital audio at 48kHz sample rate. You get 6 digital audio outputs from the Rack, according to their page;
"48kHz sampling frequency audio data can be transmitted and received via Triton Rack's 2 IN 6 OUT".
I'm not educated in the mLANA-mLANB thing though. Yamaha people would probably know better, as might mLAN Central too;
