Replacing Floppy Drive to USB

Post by adnanmas »

I am just wondering if someone can replace the floppy drive to USB as floppy drives now getting obsolete these days and the backup data is not 100% protected. I know the internal circuit will definitely supports the USB drive but the big question is how to replace the floppy drive box with the same size of USB box. If anyone can able to install the USB, this will give i30 users a vision to keep the product alive and also keep refraining to install the complex internal hard drive.

I was interested in how you are convinced that the circuitry supports USB???
If it does, does the OS comprise working drivers for USB? :?

This would be a nice update for i30 owners but I really have my doubts....

Cheers
