Hi Flemming M

Hope this will help you ... the old procedure to transfer a complete .SEt file worth of styles was documented on page 99 of the Pa1x OS2.52 user manual, but this procedure could not be used to transfer individual styles. There is a new procedure for loading and copying individual styles, which is supported in OS3.x, but is not well documented. This is how you do it:

1. Back up your styles as a .SET file on the HD

2. Select the hard disk (HD), by using the Device pop-up menu. When the device is selected, its content will appear in the display.

3. Find the .SET file containing your styles, and press Open to open the set’s folder.

4. Select the STYLE folder, and press Open to open the Style
folder.

5. You’ll see your Style banks. Select one of them, and press Open to view the individual styles inside the bank.

6. Select one style that you want to write to a Direct HD bank, press Load to open the Load dialog box. When the dialog box appears, press Direct HD button at the top of the screen, and then select the desired Direct HD bank as the target location.

7. Press OK to confirm the selection.

8. Repeat the above procedure for the other Styles you want to move.

Best regards,
Rob

hello flemming,
there is asimple way to save your favorite styles in the direct hd bank.
just go to disc-save and select the bank or style you want to save, then select the direct hd bank folder and save it to your hd bank.
Thanks!

Hello Bob and Dee.
Thanks for the hint. I have ordret the XMS1 Entertainer board and will save my own styles in the HD area, cause i thinks it will be the best place too save these before installed the XMS and the new styles from xprodata.

Hi. Just a little "pip". I save the styles in the HDdirect \ 123.set or 456.set or 789.set.
How doo I load it all again ? Just now I can see lot of my old styles in the HDbank, and not the save styles from HDdirect.
I read the manual, and it seems as it is all user styles01, user02, user03 that shoot be save in the HDdirect over 3 times as I read it or ???

With the Style Play button selected, press the button next to "Favourite" which is to the left of the style buttons, until both style select LED's light up. Then when you press one of the style buttons it will allow you to choose one of the DirectHD styles you just saved.

Best regards,
Rob
