for those labeled "PCG" you only need a means to transport them to the keyboard - a SmartMedia card will be enough
for those containing custom samples - you need RAM installed

i have the ram installed but when i load the wav file this is what the keyboard says " load wave file under that it says the files name and then its says can use */? as wild card"

I then click ok and then it says loading but the when the bar comes up it stays at 0% and then just goes back to the media screen

What kind of patches do you want?

PCG's will only give you new programs for your Triton Le. Programs take the Samples inside the Triton and alter the way the samples are played back when you press a key. If you want, for example, a totally new string sound, you need new Sample Data (which could be from WAV files... but configuring these for any Triton-class synth is a great deal of work).

When my keyboard loads sample data, the progress bar doesnt really show much. It sits at 0% for a sec and then in the blink of an eye flips to 100%. Check your sample mode to see if you have a sample loaded. Then you need to assign that sample to keys on the keyboard, and finally loop the sound (looping straight from the triton makes me cry). Last, make sure you save it in Korg Format so that it saves with all your settings (KSC file).
