tell me if I'm screwed

Post by cwade »

Need help here, Wavestation works all the time. The M1 worked for the first 6 days. and now when I pull it up, it just doesnt play. the I can hit the keys using the mouse which lets me know I have sound, but when hitting the keys on my midi, I get nothing, and still the workstation works fine. I've uninstalled,re installed both M1 and usb at least 5 times. I'm I screwed on theis software? If someone can help me, I would appreciated!!

Check that you're sending MIDI from your controller on the same MIDI channel you've set the M1's Global channel to (channel 1 by default). If you keyboard is sending on channel 2, say, and the M1's Global is set to channel 1, the synth won't play.

Kind regards.

Is this the standalone or the plugin version you're having problems in?

If standalone: In your (standalone) M1 prefs, make sure that the MIDI inputs are set to any MIDI interfaces that MIDI data is coming in from.

If the three MIDI in settings are off (or set to inactive ports), the M1 won't receive any MIDI information from any port.
