Question about Audio In Part.

THe only way I can use FX on my Audio In part is if "Audio Thru" is off.

But when I turn it off, I have to light up all my beats on the Audio In part to get sound to play and it comes out chopped up, like each 16th beat.

Is there something I am not understanding here?

Could anyone help me out?

Put a single event on the first beat (or wherever you want the live signal to start playing) and then use the step editor to adjust the gate length.

For a single bar patter, set the gate length to 17
